GTMP won the The Lighthouse tender to produce 4 films in support of the autumn monograph exhibition and book celebrating the work of architect GARETH HOSKINS and his practice. GTMP is working very closely with Leonie Bell and David Berry at the Lighthouse to present the vital elements of GHA’s work which merge to create the landmark buildings featured, such as the National Trust For Scotland’s CULLODEN visitor centre.

An ongoing project, working with The Touch Agency and the Montpelier Group to create staff training videos. 61 videos have been produced, and they keep coming back for more.

Director camera for a second year with the IVCA  AWARD-winning EDFESTTV, filming throughout August, covering the Edinburgh festivals.
JUPITER ARTLAND

Filming the work in progress of JUPITER ARTLAND. Bonnington House sculpture gardens are building a collection of pieces by the major sculptors of the British contemporary art scene, including work commissioned from Anthony Gormley.

GTMP has won the tender to film the public art event at Portobello Beach, ‘Edinburgh’s Riviera’.

The BTOTB film ‘The Power of Three’ is now complete. The 10 minute film records the events of 2nd August when big things hit the beach, in particular 3 specially commissioned artists. The film can be see at the BTOTB website.

THE GUARDIAN has included many of Gavin’s Edfest TV films on their website. See ‘Idiots of Ants’, ‘Transgression’, and ‘The British Ambassador’s Bellydancer’, to name but three of over thirty.
 
LYN MANNING, (left) was one of the Fringe highlights. A moving personal story told with intelligence and passion in his single-handed show.

The Lighthouse’s Gareth Hoskins Architects 0-10 Years exhibition is now open, running until the 11th January. Four GTMP films projected within the exhibition space explore the featured GHA buildings including the Culloden visitors centre (pictured right).

The Lighthouse’s Gareth Hoskins Architects 0-10 Years exhibition will be on display with the four films produced by GTMP at RIBA, Portland Place, from 28th January until 24th February.
 
The film ‘Within These Walls’, which explores the Royal Museum of Edinburgh development project can be seen on the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCOTLAND website.
FLOW HOSPITALITY TRAINING

The Montpelier Groups 21st-century hospitality training system has arrived. The marathon video production of the 68 films included in the modules, from 24 hours of rushes, is now complete but there is talk of taking it to another stage, Manhattan anyone? You can check it out here: FLOW
FIN ON THE WATER (wt) PILOT

Euan Myles (an award-winning advertising photographer who has just directed his first commercial for Alzheimers Scotland)
and Finlay Wilson (fishing guide, writer for Trout and Salmon and sports journalist for the Scotsman group) have teamed up with GTMP to produce a series of inspirational fishing films. Using the incredible, cinematic Canon 5D MKII Video we are busy capturing the magic of fly fishing - watch this space!

GTMP has won the commission to produce the AV for the upcoming NLS exhibition presenting The John Murray Archive. Working with a team of actors, GTMP will recreate the voices of Darwin, Livingston, Scott and other great intellectual figures as they read extracts from The John Murray Archive.
